Critical Thinking
The whole background circumstance created in the story only confidant to the Hindu Religion. People can have the question on the meter of existence of god.

Patience, good conduct, righteousness are human virtue but we can't claim that such conducts are about rewarded on this or those people who really have faith and respect on religion specially Hindusum definitely such sort of hypothetical matter. Since doess not believe restoration of death people. The story focuses upon the spiritual  living. The reward of giving someone's life back is all most save and impossible unit.

The astronomers do not agree that the run since by the power of god. Would life has meaningful with desire? The life without desire and passion can  not be would living. Without desire people can't have further progress in life.

Anyway the story seems to be successful in delivering the message. Yudhishthira has been presented as an ideal brother.
